Recall that on November 28, 2022, Justice M. A Madugu, at the FCT High Court 40, Bwari, denied Njoku, as well as the National Youth Leader of the party, Chukwuemeka Nwoga, bail and sent them to Suleja prison on allegation of forgery. Mr speaking shortly to journalists after granting bail, Njoku said a run-off in the 2023 presidential polls should not be ruled out among the frontline candidates.
