Texas Supreme Court to rule on firefighter compensation battle with City of Houston

"Bargaining under the act would not be collective bargaining, but collective begging," said Phillips.After the oral arguments, Firefighter Union Chief Marty Lancton stopped just short of declaring victory in one or potentially both of the cases.
