South African parties protest against the release of Janusz Walus on parole eNCA DStv403

Anti-apartheid hero Chris Hani was gunned down outside his home in 1993South Africa's ruling party protested outside a top court Saturday after it ordered the release of a Polish immigrant whose killing of an anti-apartheid hero in 1993 almost sparked civil conflict.

The Constitutional Court in Johannesburg on Monday ordered the release on parole of Janusz Walus, 69, who has served nearly three decades of a life sentence for the murder. Senior ANC member Panyaza Lesufi said more demonstrations were planned for his release -- likely next week."Even when he leaves that prison... he must know South Africans are not happy," he told local media outside the court.

Im glad he is out,now its time to rat out who killed hani really ,who ordered the hit,who was present that day…rampies is kaking himself

Sounds like one of Codesa clauses

Let them protest for perpetrators 1 to be arrested 2 prosecuted 3 and serve jail time ,murderers, rapists and thieves are walking freely

They will never protest for areas who don't have water and electricity..they choose a useless method to protest against Janusz Walus ..How many people have been killed and they are killers are rooming in the streets mxm

The things we are forgetting is that the 'duties of our courts is not to make law but to interpret it as such' is therefore, inconceivable that all these parties expected our justices to have ruled otherwise to an extent that the law would've allowed it objectively.

All the outraged individuals are being selective about the murderers release. Just how many of them are freed in under 10yrs, commit crimes when under parole, walking the streets JW, it's done. Deport him.

Where were their protests about Dimitri Tsafendas?

Why r these parties protesting as if they would have accepted Chris Hani as part of their leadership stru tures

His master was getting 40 thousands Rand per month from Anc government. How much Walus going to be paid from CyrilRamaphosa government. MexicoVsArgentina

Democracy is built on a constitution that provides in equal benefit for the people hence the pre amble of the Constitution reads 'we the people', although we don't like it or accept it that chap is entitled to parole

What don't politicians understand by the term 'constitutional democracy?'

No ENA what is civiil conflict? Surely it’s not a synonym for civil war. Why are you coining new meaningless terms now?

They are afraid he speaks when he is released. The real killers will be divulged. The ANC and Co is nervous.

Ag voetsek VoetsekANC VoetsekCyril 🤮 🤮 🤮 VoetsekANC VoetsekCyrilvoetsekmalema

The snake bite its tail , created constitution and constitutional court and march against!!

Which parties?

Strike the leader and followers would scatter. But not with the ANC and SACP.

Despite the ANC's & its RETFaction's best (& ongoing) efforts to make the SAJudiciary bend to its political will, the parole granted to JanuszWalus has shown that the judiciary remains independent & governed by the SAConstitution!!

The SAJudiciary cannot dance to the political biases & demands of the ANC & SACP! They can be responsive to their supporters but the ConCourt & the rest of SA's legal institutions have to obey the SAConstitution & act according to the principle of EqualityBeforeTheLaw!!

And that will help how?

So much for forgiveness and uniting SA…

Also protest Zuma and the millions of people murdered and raped every day in SA.

He also should not have been paroled for murdering innocent people but nobody protested about his release He was even given a high ranking position but then this protest now is a race thing & actually has nothing to do about the law

Nonsense And Wasting Of Time. Why Don't They Protest Against Taxpayers Money Stolen By ANC. They Wanted Law To Suit Them By Force. Our Relatives Were Killed By Criminals. Criminals Got Parole But We Had Never Complained. Chris Hani Must Go To HELL. VOETSEK. I'm Not Even FREE.

It's obvious that the same parties are not protesting against the anc structures theft and criminality which caused so many people living in poverty and future starvation, and the deaths resulted from the anc structures criminality.

The heading is a bit misleading, isn't it? It was only the ANC and SACP, and they were a miniscule group.

Protesting the Law.... only the Anc will do this.

In a corrupt society, the law can no longer be trusted. When you start corrupting the judiciary, like we have in this country, people never know what is legitimate and what not, so they protest every ruling. It's how the fish rots, from the head.

JugdeZondo Ramaphosa and all those former heads of state know who killed ChrisHani. That's the reason why he went to United kingdom to Finalize the release. 👏👏👏 weknownow.

Why don't they protest against the laws that released him? We also live amongst rapists, murderers and thieves. Play the ball and not the man.
