‘Shockingly bad legislation’: Greg Sheridan on Industrial Relations bill

The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says the Industrial Relations bill is “shockingly bad legislation”.

“And if the crossbenchers accept this it shows that they are basically part of a left of centre and quite far left of centre Coalition because this is legislation Gough Whitlam would have been proud of and Bob Hawke would have been ashamed of,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

What the heck would Sheridan know about IR laws and the need to help people on low wages get the opportunity to earn a fair wage for a fair day’s work? He’s set himself up as a foreign affairs and defence political journalist; he’s not an economist! 🤦🏻‍♂️
