A contract dispute has halted Old Tucson's plans to revive moviemaking at the park. Old Tucson officials say they are out $300,000 on a new set and have been forced to take legal action.

TUCSON, Ariz. — A contract dispute has halted Old Tucson's plans to revive moviemaking at the historic Wild West theme park.

Harper is general manager of American Heritage Railways, which now operates Old Tucson. Back in July, Harper and Old Tucson Entertainment agreed to partner with FilmWest Studios. "So that's what kind of triggered the 'you know what, let's take a step back and let's try and figure out where this $300,000 is, and you're continuing to want more'," said Harper.They filed a complaint in Durango, Colorado, the home of American Heritage Railways, for breach of contract.
