POLITICS NIGERIA reports that in a unanimous judgement by the panel of judges, Justice Muhammad Shuaibu dismissed the appeal filed by the gubernatorial flag-bearer of the PDP in Zamfara State for the 2023 election, Dauda Lawal, challenging the nullification of his candidature.
He approached a Federal High Court Gusau which subsequently nullified the primary and ordered the PDP to conduct a re-run election within 14 days. Reacting to Wednesday’s verdict, Ndiana Anaka, a lawyer to the respondents, said the judgement was a victory for democracy and rule of law.
