The teen from Glasgow appeared in court today

Reports on social media claimed that the incident occurred near a queue for a soup kitchen that operates in the city centre.

A 22-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, where his condition was described as “serious but stable”.The teen, of Glasgow, has been charged with assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder. He has also been accused of having a blade in a public place.The case was committed for further examination with Keaney remanded in custody meantime. The suspect is due to return to court within the next week.
