'Burfield inflicted at least blows to Katie's head', prosecution argues

Mr McLachlan is telling the jury:

Dr Jamie Robinson [Home Office pathologist] who will give evidence next week, estimated there were at least 12 separate strikes to the head. It is the prosecution case that Andrew Burfield inflicted these blows. The trial is expected to take two to three weeks, however it will not sit on Friday November 18 or Monday November 21. The trial is expected to last two to three weeks and will be presided over by High Court judge Mr Justice Goose.
