This should have been looked after by the Wynn’s government. Didn’t their contract expire March 2018. Liberals were in power and should have settled same with doctors.
Everything this man does attacks the vulnerable, less fortunate and middle class. Midwives, education, people with disabilities, minimum wage workers unions. How about hitting the rich and corporations. Why did anyone vote for him and the conservatives?
I am sick and tired of the unions like power/hydro unions striking during the middle of winter, postal union striking during the Christmas season, teachers striking just before kids go back to school etc. Stay the course Mr. Ford. Make them work or leave and make room for others
Based on the premise that Right Wing Governments can ban strikes before they happen ; they should simply introduce legislation that prohibits strikes- period.
Govts should keep their paws off the right to faithful bargaining. They’re killing unions and killing the middle class at the same time. When unions were strong the middle class was strong. As unions fade so does the MC and the rich get richer.
Why doesn't gov'ts both federal and provincial, make striking illegal, ban unions and be done with it? (sarc) Canadians fought hard for these rights, these benefits.. taking them away should be illegal, it forces workers to accept poor working conditions and wages.
