As a Dem I am okay with this. Obamacare was always going to have to be destroyed at some point if want real universal health care. This current inflated bloated pos that fines people instead of using taxes we already paid is insanity. Only big pharma is happy.
Dick Durbin's incompetence is one of the reasons why realDonaldTrump is president! People are fed up with the career politicians on both sides lining their own pockets and enslaving the people with more taxes, debt, and oppressing laws.
If the GOP want Universal Healthcare than yes they're doing the right thing; if not they're idiots. The ACA is a Rep. plan, picked by the Obama admin. after the GOP's failure to pick anything. The Dems compromised in order to achieve some moderate progress.
Durbin cannot answer the question. He knows the Ds goal is to promise people cheaper services by deferring payments unsustainably—all for votes. He and other politicians know they can bury (hidden) liabilities & can blame party in power when everything blows up.

obamacare is govt controlled, massive spending, subsidies-welfare program we cannot afford, a failed experiment in socialism. we dont want our politicians or govt to control or run our lives, or our healthcare. we dont trust our politicians: they cant even pass a budget.
So. Now that the gop has flipped to wanting to preserve Pre-existent conditions but still have the lawsuits to get rid of them, are they in disarray or am I confused what they stand for, if anything?
