Man in court over alleged murder bid on Scots street which left man seriously injured

A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a 53-year-old was found seriously injured in a West Lothian Street.

Medics described his condition as ‘serious but stable’ following the alleged assault. Police launched a probe into the circumstances of the incident before later arresting and charging a 36-year-old suspect in connection.
