It is appropriate that a Texas judge tried to strike down the ACA. I live in Texas which has the highest % of health uninsured in the nation including children. The judge simply wants the whole USA to be like Texas.

Regarding judicial activism, both by your past silence and past praises regarding judicial activists that have issued rulings favoring Dems policies, it is hypocritical to now act indignant. Set the same standards and be consistent in criticism.

when SCOTUS first ruled onthe ACA, it was Roberts who cast the deciding vote, declaring that it was a tax and not a fine in violating the individual mandate requiring purchase of insurance. when the individual mandate was repealed, the argument used by Roberts is gone. ACA's gone
