In 2013 the FBI partnered with a program known as ALERRT, or Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training. They study mass shootings to not only help identify different types of contributing factors but also response tactics that can be improved.

Thoughts and prayers is still the standard MO, isn‘t it?

Didn’t change it in parkland or in Vegas. So what the hell r u talking about

There is nothing no one can do to stop mass shooting. Thoughts and prayers won't and gun control won't. Even rapid response won't. Security guards won't. With almost 400 million guns in the USA you can't stop the carnage.

Judging by how many mass shootings have occurred since Sandy Hook, it appears NOTHING has changed.

Contrary to popular opinion, this began with Columbine and has evolved since. Sadly, it will likely continue to evolve until we begin to address the real issues, bullying, mental illness and distancing of our children from their families. There's a psychology in this.
