The legislation has been divided into two categories; Pay equity and pay transparency.

This part of the legislation will come into effect on April 1 of next year, except for public bodies.

They have added another government job..Pay Equity Officer.

The Legislation must be fatally flawed if the employer council goblin hasn’t taken a massive dump on it.

Okay so, looks like this was mainly a problem in Government sector jobs. I know that anywhere I ever worked people were paid based on their position and expertise. I never worked anywhere that paid more to males than females for the same job.

Need more detail to understand what is being done here

Can one single female actually even prove that they don't get paid equally?

It’s illegal to pay people differently based on gender in Canada, the job is already done

I don't know what department has no pay equity, but all position in government iis based on the job class, not gender for at least last 10 plus years.seriously.
