Alvin Braziel, 43, was pronounced dead at 7:19 p.m. local time, according to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Asked by the warden if he had any last words before he was put to death, Braziel expressed thanks to 'all those overseas, Italy and France, for their support for death row prisoners

Man who killed newlywed set to die by lethal injection in TexasLawyers for Alvin Braziel Jr. had asked the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals to stop his execution, arguing in part he is intellectually disabled. Good. He took life and stuff that didn't belong to him. VERY GOOD HE DESERVES DEATH PANELTY.
