The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has described the appointment of Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) as a testament to an excellent judicial career characterised by courage, competence and commitment to excellence.

In the statement by his media aide, Tunde Rahman, Asiwaju Tinubu said: “I congratulate Justice Olukayode Ariwoola over his appointment as substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria.

“He is never swayed by anything but the dictates of the law. He interprets and applies the law as it is. He hailed the Lagos prince for his exemplary leadership and his continued contributions to the development of the state.
