Biker-turned-agent won't testify at accused Vikings' drug trial in St. John's after all, Crown says no reason given

The agent, whose identity is protected from publication, was a Vikings member hired by police to provide information about the 2014 stabbing death of Dale Porter in North River. That investigation became Operation Bombard, a joint RCMP/RNC investigation that included alleged criminal activities of certain members of the motorcycle club.

The court has previously heard the agent had been paid thousands for his help with the investigation, which included wearing a wire to record conversations with members of the motorcycle club, as well as his participation in court proceedings.
