Montana judge blocks anti-transgender birth certificate rule

BILLINGS, Mont. — A Montana judge blocked health officials on Thursday from enforcing a state rule that would prevent transgender people from changing the gender on their birth certificate.

The legal dispute comes as conservative lawmakers in numerous states have sought to restrict transgender rights, including with bans on transgender girls competing in girls school sports. Montana District Judge Michael Moses gestures during a court hearing over a state health department rule that prevents transgender people from changing their birth certificates in Billings, Mont. on Thursday.“Isn’t that exactly what happened here?” Moses asked. “I’m a bit offended the department thinks they can do anything they want.”

So changing government documents on a whim is okay now? I am now an illegal alien. Where's my free health care, food, housing, education, phone and oh yeah, I need a face lift because I Identify as young.
