Ken Starr, a former federal appellate judge and a prominent attorney whose criminal investigation of Bill Clinton led to the president’s impeachment, has died at age 76, his family said Tuesday.

For many years, Starr’s stellar reputation as a lawyer seemed to place him on a path to the Supreme Court. At age 37, he became the youngest person ever to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, where Chief Justice John Roberts and justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia also had served. From 1989 to 1993, Starr was the solicitor general in the administration of President George H.W. Bush, arguing 25 cases before the Supreme Court.

As Clinton’s legal problems worsened, the White House pilloried Starr as a right-wing fanatic doing the bidding of Republicans bent on destroying the president. House Republicans used Starr’s report as a roadmap in the impeachment of the president, who was acquitted in a Senate trial. Bowing to intense political pressure from Republicans and some members of his own party, Clinton called for appointment of a special counsel to investigate Whitewater. A three-member appeals court for independent counsels selected Starr.

Oh the Epstein attorney that got him the sweet heart deal of the century. Good riddance

Welp

Great news! Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy. The only shame is that it didn't happen sooner!

The true witch hunt. An investigation into a land deal where the Clintons actually lost money, went on for six years and finally uncovered a sexual indiscretion. KennethStarr was like a rottweiler with a bone

Satan taking his disciple home.

Starr is in Hell with Rehnquist, Scalia

He’s now with his self righteous homophobic god. RIP.

Oh, well...

Glad the dirty corrupt mother effer is dead

Probably dead from a social disease

Prominent attorney. I guess so. Wasn’t he also fired for covering up a sex scandal when he was a college dean?

He also had a history of defending prominent rapists.

No great loss!!!

Good riddance.

Donald is looking to hire Ken

Bye Felicia

Consistently partisan to the bitter end and remembered without fondness.

Bill Clinton deserved a reprimand or censure at the worst.

I guess that where he went he has an infinite mountain of stained blue dresses to wash…

I was wondering why all of a sudden the sun started shining brighter & the birds started singing louder & flowers started blossoming all at once. Good news brightens everybody’s day.

Left out (i) his protection of Epstein and (ii) burying sex abuse claims while at Baylor

He uncovered the one thing he probably never got to experience himself. A blowjob.

Rest in Piss
