Parents of children subjected to an exorcism at a Saskatchewan children's Bible camp say RCMP need to take the incident more seriously. Some criminal law experts agree.

Head of Sask. Bible camp admits exorcism, but no medical care, conducted on boy experiencing possible seizure

For four days leading up to the exorcism, the boys engaged in vigorous physical activity in hot July temperatures. Doerksen then lectured them from early evening until as late as 5 a.m. on the many signs of demonic possession. In an audio recording obtained by CBC News, Redberry executive director Roland Thiessen admitted he was present for part of it. He said the boy exorcised was lying motionless for a period of time before displaying symptoms consistent with a seizure, yet no medical care was provided during or after the ritual.

Javier Garcia Oliva, a law professor with the University of Manchester, has studied exorcisms and the law, particularly child victims. "However absurd that might sound to most adults in daylight, it might well have been all too real to children at night and a long way from home."

That was once person ! Not all Christian’s are like that …in fact 99.99999% aren’t !

Once again, religion condones and supports abuse. When will this bullshit stop?

But burning churches isn't... apparently.

...exorcists 'summon' demons...

This is pure bullshit. If a child has a seizure, they need to see a doctor. They do not need glossolalia. This is 2022, not 1322. The law needs to catch up. It’s not okay. It’s abuse.

Now apply this to drag queen story time and pedophiles grooming kids

Of course this needs to be taken more seriously. This incident because of a fucking fairy tale? The delusion is a sickness to humankind.

This has been going on for decades! I went to the Bible camp called Living Waters during the 90’s-00’s and it was common place to have “deliverance” sessions. Such a horrific and abusive act. I hope these kids are ok and get trauma counseling.

Maybe sending your kid to 'Bible camp' wasn't the greatest idea ever...just a thought.

omg cbc. spreading ridiculous lies. demonizing Christianity. where were you when trudeaus voting base antifa and blm were burning down churches(on native lands too); toppling statues etc....SILENT. cause you're the paid off welfare media of trudeau paid for by my tax$$

SMDH

I'll tell you...that headline made my shit day great again...still laughing..

What about the children subjected to an experimental drug? The FDA approved versions were never given to them. Reconcile.

Crazy zebra is on the case

kcorr54 Just 'some' criminal law experts agree?

Yeah, they need to take criminal action against the parents for sending their children to a Bible camp.. not to mention a Bible camp where they had no idea what the itinerary would be.

Quick, this child needs to be indoctrinated into being trans at a Canadian public school immediately.

Shut down the camp to start with. And bann any religion camp to begin with.

In my world torture is a crime. RuleOfLaw Justice

This is Child abuse by a religious organization, the trauma of this incident will follow these children for the rest of their lives and yet no Social Services nor RCMP response, unbelievable.

The parents’ first mistake was sending their kids to Bible camp. Have they even ever read the Bible? 😳

RCMP this investigation needs to be re opened as ABUSE. what is described is a cult like event done without informed consent of the youth or their oarents. hold these religious extremists accountable. these kids are meant to be kept safe not exposed to abusive practices

Don't anyone pretend like we're above this. We literally just brought the Pope to Canada for an exorcism of our past.

RCMP are pathetic.

It's 2022

Pretty sure climate change caused this

I guess RCMP do not consider psychological torture a crime, or maybe their members are part of this religious group...... Time to disband the RCMP JustinTrudeau

Perhaps an exorcism is the answer for people who believe that there is such a thing as a sky daddy.

Maybe the parents should be held accountable for sending their kid to a bible camp in the first place

NeverTrustACop ChurchAndState

You don't send your children to a clown college if you don't want them to get pies in their face at the circus. Ditto Bible Camp and lunatic religious practices.

Exorcism is bad, but its less invasive than top surgery.

I know of a few politicians who could benefit from being exorcised.

Hells (oops) HECK yeah!
