Pictured: Enoch Burke. Pictured: Enoch Burke. A JUDGE HAS ordered that a teacher be arrested by gardaí and brought before the High Court to answer his alleged failure to comply with a temporary injunction preventing him from attending or teaching at the secondary school where he is employed.
The school after obtaining the interim injunction earlier this week, brought a motion seeking Burke’s attachment and possible committal to prison before the High Court yesterday. It claims his actions may be disruptive to the school’s students at the beginning of the new academic year. It was now a matter for the Gardai to see if Burke can be brought before the court later today or early next week, the judge noted.
The order was obtained because the board claims that Burke was not abiding by the terms of his suspension, which it is alleged he believes is unlawful, by attending at the school. Burke, it is claimed, objected to this, questioned the school’s position, has alleged that a belief system is being forced on students.
I think the name Enoch gives it away

Since some religious orders are allowed to be openly discriminatory against the LGBTQIA+ community, they cannot pick on Enoch's stance here. I don't agree with what his refusal but his stance could actually move the movement forward.
