According to figures from LAA's annual reports, provincial government funding did increase by 47 per cent between the 2015-16 fiscal year and 2018-19, but decreased for the next two years."We're not here to play politics, which Shandro is," Criminal Trial Lawyers Association president Danielle Boisvert told CBC News.

It’s always interesting to see socialist lawyers asking for more cash. It’s unfortunate CBC refuses to do some journalism and investigate how the funding in Alberta compares to other provinces instead of simply repeating what the opposing parties are saying.
