Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says Cabinet has determined there is a need for a further inquiry into former prime minister Scott Morrison’s secret ministerial appointments.

“And we will give consideration at a future meeting into the nature of that inquiry,” Mr Albanese said during a media conference on Tuesday.

He said it would be an inquiry with an “eminent person with a legal background” to “consider all of the implications”. “I’ve directed the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet to work with the Office of the Official Secretary to the Governor-General to adopt a practice of publishing in the Commonwealth Gazette future appointment of ministers to administer departments.Read More

Albanese's wasting money & time.

Stupid Labor way out of control...time to clean this party up..

But no inquiry into ALP bullying or KK death mmm not political is it Airbus

Why doesn’t that surprise me. Keep looking till we find something. Anything will do. How about they get on with governing the bloody country!!

Good, now move the f on and govern. F the g g

Yes they love inquiries and debates, I think the first inquiry should be about energy prices as it is something that people are really interested in, get of your arse Albo.

Big Fat Nothing Burger

AnAl still acting like an Opposition Leader.

what about our bills c**t

Bullshit, Albanese is the one who’s decided that further investigation is needed. It’s got nothing to do with his cabinet. He’s on a solo mission to destroy Morrison which is a bloody waste of time. Always doing is distracting the public from how incompetent he really is.

Pedo elites scampering. Your all accountable no matter what faction your in.

Hey AlboMP hows the cost of living crisis going? have you or JEChalmers got a plan yet? or are you just going to let Australians suffer, while you hide behind other things that are not as important as rising living costs!!

So they have nothing better to do? Not that I endorse the ex-PMs secrect ministerial appointments. But there are more urgent matters (e.g. economy, flooding/disaster planning/ etc.)

Stop wasting time

Because the govt don’t have any pressing issues at the moment that spend more money on a matter that was considers legal. Pishposh

Albanese to release Morrison legal advice tomorrowPrime Minister Anthony Albanese says he will be releasing the Solicitor General’s advice on former prime minister Scott Morrison’s secret portfolios tomorrow. “My government, as an orderly government, we have a Cabinet meeting tomorrow,” he said during a media conference on Monday. “I think politeness and proper process means they should have access to it. I’ll do that and I intend to release the advice tomorrow.” Let me guess.🤔 No laws broken but ScoMo doing that was inconsistent with the Westminster system. No action against ScoMo but changing parliamentary rules to stop a future PM doing it. Done, now AlboMP get back to work & focus on cost of living, ICAC, cancel obscene tax cuts. hey AlboMP start thinking about real wages and the cost of living pressures.
