Another delay in the corruption case of former eThekwini mayor Zandile Gumede has raised the ire of the judge presiding over the matter in the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban. | kaveels

This time, the case had to be postponed to accommodate a lawyer representing Bongani Dlomo, Khoboso Dlomo and their company, Omphile Thabang Project, because he wasn't ready to proceed. In fact, the lawyer, Mlamli Magigaba, admitted that he hadn't even seen the amended indictment. This angered Judge Sharmaine Balton.

She added:"There is no other time for this matter, and we were hoping to at least read the charges during this session."After the matter stood down briefly, Balton returned and postponed it to 22 August.
