A 39-year-old factory worker, ThankGod Umana, has been remanded in the Kirikiri Custodial Centre by an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old girl.

Akeem said the mother of the victim found out about the alleged crime when she observed that her daughter was keeping to herself.

The prosecutor said, “After much probing, the minor told her mother that the defendant had been sexually molesting her.The chief magistrate adjourned the case till August 25 for mention.All rights reserved.
