An Edo State High Court Federal sitting in Benin has convicted and sentenced six Internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo Boys to several months in prison for defrauding people. The convicts, who were prosecuted by the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), were identified as Emejom Jude Chinomso, Okolie Collins, Hezekiah Oghenekume, Musa Dauda, Akinselure Adebayo and Obafemi Oluwatosin. One of them was said to have claimed that he was an American actor.

The convicts, who were prosecuted by the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission , were identified as Emejom Jude Chinomso, Okolie Collins, Hezekiah Oghenekume, Musa Dauda, Akinselure Adebayo and Obafemi Oluwatosin.
