Carrying placards that read"Am I next?" and"Hands off our women", scores of protesters gathered at the Krugersdorp Magistrate's Court on Monday, ahead of the appearance of more than 80 people who were arrested in connection with the rape of eight women last week."I'm here today because I am angry with what happened to our sisters.

Pastor Joe Mabuela, from Mogale City, told News24 the protesters were at court to support the victims. "We are here to say we are tired... we are sick and tired of these things. We have been complaining about these illegal operations. This incident is not the first. Two weeks ago, two women who are security personnel at the local cemetery were abducted by the very same illegal foreigners and they were raped.
