Former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak’s highly anticipated final appeal of a conviction in one of the cases linking him with the 1MDB financial scandal could be delayed after his newly appointed lawyers sought a postponement of the hearing.
Hisyam previously represented Doan Thi Huong, one of the two women who were accused of assassinating Kim Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Observers had previously suggested the 69-year-old leader had been seeking ways to delay the proceedings until after a general election is called some this year.
The case was later heard by the Court of Appeal – the country’s second highest court – and the judges on that panel rejected Najib’s call to be exonerated. “My pet dog jumped on me. I am now in pain and I need to seek immediate medical attention later through an X-ray scan,” he told the court.
If ronggeng is not working with the judge, time to try tzapin !! NajibRazak
Postpone is the solution, atleast he still can have freedom n spent his ill gotten gain.
