GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Three people were fatally shot and two were injured Sunday evening at an Indiana mall after a man with a rifle opened fire in a food court and an armed civilian shot and killed him, police said.
A 22-year-old from nearby Bartholomew County who was legally carrying a firearm at the mall shot and killed the gunman, Ison said at a news conference.
There you have it. An armed law abiding citizen was able to stop something that would have been way worse. Without him there the death count would have been way higher.
Glad he was taken out
And now 3 people are hospitalized and 2 go to jail. Which could easily be avoided if guns just weren’t around.
The armed civilian, presumably armed with a handgun, was not afraid of the shooter with a rifle and several magazines. Yet idiots are saying that the Uvalde cops were scared of the shooter's rifle....
