Ukraine vows commitment to truth, justice in MH17 investigation | The Malaysian Insight

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry says it has full confidence in the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service's case against the alleged perpetrators of the MH17 tragedy. – AFP pic, July 17, 2022.

The ministry in a statement today said the country has full confidence in the independent, open and impartial criminal proceedings of the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service against alleged perpetrators, as well as the state responsibility proceedings at the International Civil Aviation Organisation.

“A thorough and exhaustive judicial process must be pursued to hold the perpetrators to account and pursue justice for the victims and next of kin of MH17,” read the statement, which was posted on Twitter to commemorate the eighth anniversary of the tragedy. Ukraine also reiterated its deepest sympathies and condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
