Law professor Khiara Bridges on Sen. Josh Hawley's questions about pregnancy: 'I want to recognize that your line of questioning is transphobic.” - NBCOUT

During a Senate hearing on Tuesday about the impact of the Supreme Court’s decision to reverse Roe v. Wade, the landmark case that provided a constitutional right to abortion, Sen. Josh Hawley clashed with law professor Khiara Bridges over a series of questions about who can be pregnant.

She continued, “And it opens up trans people to violence,” but then Hawley cut her off and the two began a tense exchange. Bridges continued, “Because denying that trans people exist and pretending not to know that they exist is dangerous.” "It’s characteristic of politicians across the country who will cling to archaic ideas about womanhood and gender while endorsing policies which are devastating to women and transgender people themselves," she said.debate over inclusive language in the abortion rights movement

NBCOUT We don't need a law professor. You need geneticists. If a man can really turn into a woman, he shouldn't need surgery. He should naturally grow a vagina and ovaries and produces eggs all on his own. Until that happens, he is a man and vice versa for transmen.

NBCOUT This was the stupidest exchange ever.

NBCOUT She was provocative

NBCOUT sick

NBCOUT This lady is insane. Is there a problem being transphobic? I personally don’t like them.

NBCOUT A “Berkeley education” took a major hit.

NBCOUT Is there a phobia for truth?

NBCOUT She is bat guano crazy.

NBCOUT She states that to disagree with her view on trans persons you support trans violence and suicide? Might her actual suggestion of violence be what pushes this narrative?

NBCOUT Unhinged woke person who either got a free ride because of —— or deeply in debt because she chose a made up profession gets upset when challenged on basic terminology of biology.

NBCOUT We have never seen the men raped in prison get pregnant but we now have this. And if I have to go to prison I'm transgender at that point

NBCOUT The new reboot of an Officer and a Gentleman

NBCOUT We are free to dislike anyone we dislike, even if it hurts their butts. 🤣
