Eric Holcomb , saying that his office had requested, but not received, documentation from state agencies that the girl’s abortion had been properly reported by the OB/GYN, Caitlin Bernard. But records obtained by The Washington Post on Thursday afternoon show that Bernard indeed reported the minor’s abortion to the relevant state agencies before the legally mandated deadline to do so. The doctor’s attorney, Kathleen DeLaney, said in a statement to news outlets that Bernard is “considering legal action against those who have smeared [her], including Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita.”“My client, Dr.

Revising here since my previous tweet was badly written. That doctor should never have reported the abortion to the authorities. No girl or woman should ever be punished for having an abortion. We must resist these unjust laws that treat women like chattel.

Either he didn't do his due diligence & made assumptions, therefore is not qualified as AG or he knew the truth & weighed lying & the spotlight that it would put on him in the Anti Abortion movement. Either way, he is not qualified to hold a position as AG & should be disbarred.
