Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Iqbal Ibrahim said the suspect was brought to the Shah Alam Magistrates court after receiving orders to charge him for kidnapping under Section 363 of the Penal Code from Public Prosecutor Tengku Intan Suraya Tengku Ismail.
"The suspect was brought to face Magistrate Nur Faizah Abdul Sani at the Shah Alam Magistrates Court 3 where he claimed trial.It was reported that police remanded the suspect that allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and her son. The suspect surrendered himself on Friday to the police after pressure from the authorities following raids at known addresses.
On July 7, the suspect drove off with the two victims after taking over her car in front of a kindergarten in U12 in Shah Alam. It is believed that he was acting under the influence of drugs, and that he had unreciprocated feelings for his former partner.Article type: free
