Cassidy Hutchinson stands by her testimony before the Jan. 6 committee on Tuesday, according to a new statement from her legal counsel.

The onetime aide to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows is not backing down from her testimony, even as some have come forward prepared to push back concerning claims she made.

Hutchinson made several explosive allegations in the hearing, including sharing a story she heard from a top Secret Service official that then-President Donald Trump attempted to grab the steering wheel of the presidential limousine and reached for the neck of his head of security when told they could not drive to the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, after his speech on the Ellipse.

She lost all credibility and so did the committee.

I'll bet she couldn't pass a lie detector test.

She has to stand by her testimony or be looking at doing a 5 year federal hotel plan! 🧐

It’s perjury if she fesses up now or gets caught later. The difference is a prosecutor has to prove malice aforethought.

January 6 probe is a futile venture. It will lead to nothing. It shows how jobless the lawmakers have become. How much more can insanity be glorified than in this vindictive probe of common protest

Gee, your UTI of a publication quotes trump on his social media platform stating she lied. That is hard hitting journalism. 😂

She stands by her lying? amazing this woman has no future, I wouldn't hire her I can't imagine anybody wanting her to work for them, her career is over.

Hearsay is easy to stand behind. That's why it's inadmissable in court.
