“I believe firmly that this is a pro-choice state,” Whaley said. “If Gov. DeWine and the legislature are going to push their extreme, anti-women agenda, it is time for voters to fight back.'

There are two ways to amend the Ohio Constitution: Beginning with the legislature passing a proposal to bring the matter before voters, or starting with a signature-gathering campaign of registered voters across the state to put the plan on ballots. Republicans have a supermajority in the Ohio General Assembly. Whaley plans to go with the signature-gathering route.

She added that there isn’t time to gather the signatures necessary for an amendment proposal for Nov. 8 ballots, because a key deadline to submit signatures -- over 400,000 would be needed -- is next week.

Nan the Whale

More failed democratic policies. I think we have bigger problems Houston

What these people do not understand that there are two sides. What she did is show exactly what side she would represent.

WomensRightsAreHumanRights

And she'll lose cause normal people don't want to murder babies

Can you imagine this woman as our governor?! May God save the great State of Ohio!

Guarantee anyone that fornicated with this woman was envisioning someone or something else the entire time.

That just shows she has no idea how to get things done in Columbus. She just alienated the majority in the state house she would need to get that done

Of course she’s pro-abortion, you can’t run for high office as a democrat unless you’re for abortion up until the time of birth.

I hope a miracle happens an Nan and the Dems somehow magically gain control of Ohio. Of course I also keep trusting in a football team that keeps Brownsing itself in the Browniest way possible.

Today is July 4. Independence Day. You would never know it following your tweets.

It would’ve been easier to say “I don’t want to win this election.”

In 3-2-1 … 👏👏👏👏👏Where is Allie ?

Good luck with a super majority Republican assembly.

Wouldn't expect anything less from Nan the Whale it's pretty obvious from looking at her thar she doesn't believe in personal responsibility.

Whaley is another politician that wants abortion to be an all or nothing issue to campaign on. But the reality is most people want a compromise.
