Utah abortion rights activists fear the impact Roe v. Wade reversal will have on marginalized women

Hundreds met at the steps of the Utah State Capitol Sunday evening for a demonstration in favor of abortion rights.

During the speeches, artists put together an art piece using wire hangers to symbolize the method of unsafe abortions many women used pre-Roe v. Wade. “It’s going to mess up a lot of lives, and it just feels like the world’s on fire,” said Bonnie Marley, a protester at the capitol.

An abortion is an elective medical procedure not a right Taking a life is not a right

Everyone in this comment section doesn’t deserve rights either

The audacity these people in the comments have rn 🤮🤮 better pray your daughters/wives aren’t raped/don’t miscarry/have ectopic pregnancies.

What a waist protesting. It's final. So waist of time.

Abortion is murder

The court gave rights back to the people and the states as outlined in the 10th Amendment. No one is being marginalized, especially those that opposed legalized killing of babies and those babies themselves.

The change in law will only affect irresponsible men AND women. It will have no effect on responsible men and women.

Don’t they know they can move to a place called California?

No one is being marginalized.

Get over it . This is a red state
