A law enforcement officer was injured Thursday during a standoff in Tarrant County.
Around 9:30 a.m., Tarrant County deputies went to a home in the 500 block of Indian Creek Drive to serve a felony warrant. When they arrived, the suspect began firing at deputies from multiple sides of the house, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said.The suspect continued to fire at the officers and appeared to drop “incendiary devices” on the front porch, starting a fire, the sheriff’s office said.
One officer was injured during the standoff but is OK, the sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office did not say which department the officer worked for. The suspect is not in custody. Their condition is unknown, and the sheriff’s office did not identify them.The scene was still “very active” around 3 p.m., the sheriff’s office said..
