Buhari, Atiku, others should scrap security votes, immunity - SERAP - Vanguard News NigeriaSocio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has sent an open letter to major presidential candidates for Nigeria’s February 16 election urging them to “publicly commit to revolutionary and innovative anti-corruption reforms in five key areas, such as security votes, power sector corruption, judicial corruption and removal of immunity for presidents, vice-presidents, state governors and deputy state governors.” That's good ideas I beg I wish to be educated, DOES THE ELECTORAL LAW OR NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION IMPOSE A DEBATE BETWEEN POLITICAL CONTESTANTS? Nigeria has not copied from other countries the virtue a disciplined society's unanimity in standing by the laws, no matter whose Ox is gored. They should start with immunity first... It is our major problem.

Happily the CJN is appearing in front of a court under NJC, the judge there can refer it back to NJC if that is the procedure so all this noise is unnecessary.
