Ukraine ambassador offers a glimmer of hope for British soldiers facing the death penalty

Brits Shaun Pinner, 48, and Aiden Aslin, 28, face execution by firing squad. They were sentenced to death by a separatist court in Donetsk in a sham trial. The pair were captured fighting for Ukraine in besieged city of Mariupol.

How do we know it was a sham trial?Does that make the Russian soldier trial by Ukrance a sham?They were fighting for the Ukranace killed Russian soldiers and had no business being there they were guilty of that. I hope the death sentences reduce but they still could stay in jail.
