Two men have been arrested in Perth's southern suburbs after they allegedly attacked a man at a Hamilton Hill retirement village, leaving him with a serious head injury.
The men, aged 19 and 20, are accused of attacking their 65-year-old victim overnight and causing him to fall to the ground, before kicking him in the head several times.Police said he was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital and was expected to undergo surgery for his injuries. Officers were initially called to the Erpingham Road retirement village about 7:15pm after reports of a disturbance at the unit complex and sounds of objects smashing.Police said the 19-year-old was pulled from the car and arrested while the 20-year-old took off on foot.The men have been charged with stealing a motor vehicle and aggravated robbery.
Responsible citizens should arm themselves, lest you be a victim.
The Police Officers and Digger are to be commended for catching these waste-of-space individuals who allegedly assaulted the man who merely attempted to ensure his elderly neighbours were not included in their crimes. IMHO the coppers did well.Bite harder next time Digger!
