CLEVELAND, Ohio - A 70-year-old Macedonia man was in court on Thursday afternoon to face a judge linked to several disturbing allegations.two dozen criminal charges including rape
, gross sexual imposition, and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person. A complaint, initially filed with the Stow Municipal Court, alleges that Lupica raped a girl who was between the ages of 3 and 5 years old.During Thursday’s arraignment hearing, the prosecutor said there is evidence that Lupica anally and orally raped underage victims.At least one victim has been interviewed by police at this point in the investigation. The prosecutor also said that photographs recovered from Lupica’s electronic devices will be used as evidence.
Lupica, who does not have a criminal history in Summit County, pleaded not guilty to the specific crimes and he will be held in jail without the opportunity of bond until the next court hearing on June 7.
