Ernest Vernon Whitehead has been charged with indignity to human remains. Police have issued arrest warrants for three other people.

y in connection with the death of 31-year-old Megan Michelle Gallagher. Whitehead has been charged with one count of indignity to human remains.

“The silence that has been killing us has been so devastating to so many people,” Brian Gallagher said outside of court. “And it’s not just our family, there are so many families out there suffering the same realities. In many cases, theirs are far worse. We’ve got some answers in 20 months. Some people never get answers.”

“The reason this is important is for the future. We don’t want any more children going missing. We don’t want other families to have to experience this. The reality is if you know something and you don’t speak up, that’s exactly what you’re allowing to happen.”Article content Saskatoon police have charged John Wayne Sanderson, 44, Jessica Sutherland, 45 and Roderick William Sutherland, 44, with indignity to human remains in connection with the death of Megan Gallagher. A 41-year-old man who was also charged has been arrested. Gallagher was last seen in Saskatoon in September of 2020.
