woman has been sentenced to nine months probation after pleading guilty to assaulting her son with a wooden spoon.The court heard the woman had smacked her son after finding out he used her credit card to buy $600 worth of video games.
The woman's lawyer told the court she had lost custody of both her children."I can only imagine how difficult this is as a single mother with two children to make ends meet," he said."I was struck by my grandfather about 40 years ago," he said.
When I was a kid and done something naughty I got the wooden spoon. Now these days kids can get away with just about anything no wonder there are so many kids stealing things, damaging property and bullying and bashing others
And there lies the problem with society these days with certain kids having behaviour issues. Parents unable to control kids because they’ll get in trouble if they lay a finger on them. Bloody disgrace.
