But mainstream coverage of the trial has not seemed to grasp this. Instead, there’s been tremendous focus on Heard’s mistakes and worst moments over the course of her relationship with Depp. As is typical of domestic abuse victims, Heard does seem to have done things many of us would not be proud of. She fought back. Depp’s outbursts and insults left Heard resentful and angry with him, and sometimes, she told him so. Many are quick to point out that Heard is not a perfect victim.
For their part, Depp’s fans seem to not so much deny Depp’s alleged violence against Heard, but to approve of it. “He could have killed you,” says, the text superimposed over photos of Heard’s bruised face. “He had every right.” The post has more than 222,200 likes.

I don’t profess to know the truth in Depp v Heard case but I do know that men can be victims too. Too afraid to hit back in case they’re accused of abuse themselves and afraid of using superior strength which may hurt her. I know this has happened to a male friend of mine.

The ACLU & Washington Post believed Heard. The jury found that there was compelling evidence that Heard defamed Depp with Malice. The jury were convinced by the evidence that Heard twisted stories and manipulated evidence. I wonder why ?

While I did not report on this trial, i kept up daily. What piqued my interest was the revelation that Heard suffers from BPD, borderline personality disorder. Reading what I have abt Depp, I would say he is highly narcissistic. The two together created a marriage from hell.
