Congratulations to Haley Taylor Schlitz for becoming Southern Methodist University law school’s youngest-ever graduate and the youngest Black woman to ever graduate from law school in the United States. Congratulations to her parents also. This homeschooled young woman fulfills the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Haley has ably demonstrated that the discipline of hard work and perseverance results in excellence no matter your vocation in life. We look forward to her continued success. God bless you, Haley!— I’m a Yankees fan; however, I often listen to the radio broadcasts of the Texas Rangers and especially enjoy Matt Hicks. He make the game exciting and informative. Congratulations on having such a fine radio broadcast team.

— Three cheers to the city of McKinney and everyone involved in the recent AT&T Byron Nelson golf tournament at the TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. There were friendly, smiling faces everywhere, helpful information readily available, lots of wonderful boxes, suites and other facilities for golf watchers and many handouts from local businesses. I’m so proud of my city. Its firefighters, police officers and others helped make the Nelson a success.
