Your life...Your right to say if you are terminally ill and in pain, when you would like to put that pain to a end. The sanctimonious religious types , have to get there face in on your business.

wee_ellster UKParliament could have given people the right in 2015 but chose not to. Thank goodness for brave people like Noel who are prepared to fight for his rights and that of others.

We need to learn how to die in this country. There are certainly worse things than death.

For someone like me who had to watch a partner with quadraplegia die slowly and painfully over more than a year, genuine choice can't come quickly enough. Those advocating 'right to life' should pray their loved ones never have to make the same journey

When a state, it's laws and those who apply the law are still under the thumb of religion this won't ever change. People will suffer despite wanting out because an entity they don't even believe in dictates it's wrong to top yourself.

I agree. It’s his body, why isn’t his choice as when he leaves this life?

This is so ugly, get religious thugs out of our lives. Why on earth is it even allowed to torture the dying & grieving families with legal challenges? Irrational & shameful to cause any more suffering.
