Canada is doomed as a country. I've read a number of U.S. and Canadian Supreme Court opinions. There's no comparison. Even when I disagree with U.S. Supreme Court positions, that Court is clearly more competent, something that I've noted throughout the comparative court systems.
So someone can go get shitfaced, then assault someone else, then say sorry I'm not responsible because I voluntarily got impaired. This has to be a joke.
