Rebekah Vardy knew Coleen Rooney was "posting fake stories" to see if they would be leaked to the media, the High Court has heard.

He added that "the idea that Mrs Rooney was going to go back into TV" had been repeated by a number of news outlets "several times" across 2019.Rebekah and Coleen had previously attempted to settle outside of court, but were unable to. And Rebekah's barrister argued the I'm A Celeb star had "no choice but to bring this libel action to establish her innocence and vindicate her reputation".
