Hydro-Québec will be mounting a last-ditch effort to try to save a controversial transmission line project in Maine's highest court Tuesday. Maine residents quashed the project after 59 per cent voted to ban its construction in a referendum.

I realize that no one want to lose that part of the forest for giant power lines but its the cleanest and likely most economical option they have for more power. Its a shame that Maine and the rest of the New England states can't find a solution.
