Ron Fein, who is leading a legal challenge to Greene’s candidacy in Georgia over allegations she helped facilitate the Jan. 6 riot, told NBC News on Monday that the text messages undermine her credibility and testimony“Marjorie Taylor Greene testified under oath that she could not remember telling Trump or his chief of staff to declare martial law to try to keep Trump in power, but her own texts reveal that she did exactly that,” Fein said in a statement.
“In our private chat with only Members, several are saying the only way to save our Republic is for Trump to call for Marshall law. I don’t know on those things. I just wanted you to tell him. They stole this election. We all know. They will destroy our country next. Please tell him to declassify as much as possible so we can go after Biden and anyone else!” she wrote.
Greene testified under oath for nearly four hours as a witness during Friday's hearing and was asked whether she had advocated for martial law prior to Biden’s inauguration. Free Speech for People, an election and campaign finance reform organization led by Fein, filed a lawsuit last month on behalf of a group of Georgia voters aiming to remove Greene from the ballot due to her alleged role in the Jan. 6 attack.
Lawyers who encourage this behavior which is tantamount to lying to the public and getting away with the I don't remember bull, give the impression that our justice system is just not working!
She should claim that she was speaking of marshall law rather than martial law. Greene and the moron governor of Texas should get together.

She was asked if SHE advocated that. I read the message and I don't see her advocating that. So 'I don't recall' is the perfect answer. I seem to recall she specifically took no position on what a few OTHERS said (can you tell the difference? ). Trump didn't do it. Pathetic
Even if she did recall, what's the issue, she is just relating information too him, not asking for it.
Guess what. None of this is illegal. I wonder what the bush and gore campaigns were floating among themselves during the recount mess in 2000. If U were a fly on a wall during that time, U would have heard the same things. More nothing burgers by the media to enrage the base
